1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Juridion LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of AI Discovery Drafter (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.
If you are accepting on behalf of a law firm or legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
AI Discovery Drafter is a software-as-a-service platform that provides:
- AI-powered parsing of written discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission)
- Generation of California-compliant objections
- Draft response generation for discovery requests
- AI-assisted review for compliance and completeness
- Export to formatted DOCX documents
- Integration with Clio for matter management
The Service is designed for use by California legal professionals. Users in other jurisdictions should verify that generated content complies with local rules.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
3.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create an account by authenticating through Clio OAuth. You agree to provide accurate information during registration.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.
3.3 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload documents containing malware or harmful content
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service
- Use automated scripts without permission
4. Subscription and Billing
4.1 Subscription Plans
AI Discovery Drafter is offered as a paid subscription service. Current pricing is available on our website and may be updated from time to time.
4.2 Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel.
4.3 Payment
Payment is processed through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period. Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation.
5. Clio Integration
AI Discovery Drafter integrates with Clio for authentication and matter management. By using the Service, you authorize us to access your Clio account via OAuth.
We are not responsible for Clio's service availability or changes to their API.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, algorithms, and design, is owned by Juridion LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
6.2 Your Documents
You retain ownership of documents you upload and responses you generate. You grant us a limited license to process your documents solely for providing the Service.
6.3 Generated Content
You own the discovery response drafts generated through the Service. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and filing any documents.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Critical Notice:
AI Discovery Drafter generates draft discovery responses using artificial intelligence. All AI-generated content requires attorney review and may contain errors.
7.1 Not Legal Advice
The Service does not provide legal advice. Generated objections, responses, and suggestions are drafts that must be reviewed, edited, and approved by a licensed attorney before use.
7.2 Attorney Review Required
You are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing all generated content for accuracy and completeness
- Verifying objections comply with applicable rules and case law
- Ensuring responses are truthful and complete
- Editing content to reflect case-specific facts
- Obtaining client approval before filing
7.3 Jurisdiction Notice
Generated objections are based on California discovery law. If you practice in another jurisdiction, you must verify compliance with local rules and procedures.
7.4 No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Juridion LLC. The Service is a software tool, not the practice of law.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.
8.2 Limitation of Damages
JURIDION LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
8.3 Maximum Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Juridion LLC from any claims arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) documents you upload; (c) your reliance on generated content; (d) discovery responses you file; or (e) your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay.
Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days. Sections that should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in Delaware courts.
12. Dispute Resolution
Before formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@juridionai.com to attempt informal resolution. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in California.
You agree to waive class action rights and resolve disputes individually.

14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving the original intent, or if such modification is not possible, such provision shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of any other provision of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Juridion LLC regarding AI Discovery Drafter.
